We built PatchLab to provide a solution to the slow, opaque nature of outsourced R&D for drug delivery systems. We believe that early-stage discovery/formulation—whether for a transdermal patch, a lozenge, sublingual film etc — should be fast, transparent, and data-driven.

our company
The cofounders originally met as roommates in Humboldt County over a decade ago. As different projects came and went they met back up in San Diego working together at various startups creating drug delivery formulations.
Today, they serve a range of clients looking to test or rapidly iterate through drug delivery development to perfect IP before validating with large scale CROs. The prototyping and release modeling turns drugs into viable therapeutics.
